Sugar Daddy Worth
I decided to do the math on Sugar Daddy, as I was curious how best to use it if at all. On the one save that I tried using it, I found that the addiction problem was simply to much of a hindrance to play with for long so my thought is that if it's worth it to use it's just for the money and then get it removed as quick as possible.

The way the implant works is that putting it in gives you $5000, but removing it costs $6000, effectively making it a loan. But if you upgrade it or drink Kola the cost to remove it is reduced. Each upgrade you put in it removes $1000 from the removal cost with a max of 3 upgrades. So if all you do is put it in, upgrade it three times you'll have $2000 extra money that you didn't have before. I should note I have not checked yet how much you could sell those upgrades to a pawn shop for. It very well might be that 3 upgrades sold to a shop are worth more than $2000, making this implant mostly worthless.

If on the other hand you fully upgrade it and then chug 600 kola you'll have removed your debt letting you just keep that $5000. Of course kola aren't free, and at $2 a can you'll have net $3800 profit. I have heard some vending machines sell the kola for only $1 a can, so if you got all your kola from one of those, you would end up with $4400. Again this isn't taking into account how much you could just sell those three upgrades for.

Unfortunately 600 cans is a bit much for me to test quickly in game. It MAY be that once you have reduced the removal cost to 0, there is no further benefit. Or it MAY be that they'll then PAY you to remove the implant if you keep drinking (effectively making this an investment of how long do you want to suffer from the addiction).

There are a few sync disks that will make you waste lots of time doing things that aren't related to solving cases. This is one of them. You'll be constantly running to buy starch Kola.

Handcuffs and food and drink aren't that expensive. And that's all you need to win the game. Money is pretty useless right now, so this sync disk is kind of pointless. It's a nice joke though that will catch a lot of new players once.

Yeah, it also makes for an interesting challenge play to just keep it installed. But for the most part seems best to just ditch it.

I can inform you that upgrade vials sell for cr500 at pawn brokers or cr800 at the black market.

I found some shops sells Kola for 1 cr. and then there is Model Citizen Street cleaner.
math under might be wrong.
(note I would not recomend putting any uppgrade vial into the sugar daddy as a vial cost 1000cr and recuses cost of removal by 1000cr if you find them then maybe).

sugar daddy gives 5000 cr
uninstall is 6000 cr
starch product reduces it by 5 cr
kola cost 1 cr.

1000 kola cost 1000cr = 5000cr discount
200 kola cost 200cr = 1000cr discount
total 1200 kola for 1200cr giving you a 6000cr uninstall cost reduction.

pick up Model Citizen Street cleaner (street cleaner gives you 2cr per trash+1 per upgrade vial)

500cr disk only
1200cr X 2 = 2400-500-1200 = 700

500cr disk + 1000cr vial.
1200cr x 3 = 3600-1500-1200 = 900

if you buy the secound level of uppgrade for the Street sweeper that gives you 4 per trash.
500 for disk + 200 for 2 vials.
4cr per trash item.
1200 cans x 4 = 4800 - 2500 - 1200 = 1100 pure profit.

this means that play your card correct and find a dumpster near a food joint that sells kola for 1cr each.

-----
install sugar daddy gain 5000 cr.
spend 2500 of them on Model Citizen - Street cleaner lv2 (4cr per trash).
Net 2500cr.
buy 1200cr of soda
Net 1300cr
street clean 1200 cans of soda gain 4800cr
net 6100.
remove sugar daddy for 0cr.
Make in total 6100. cr and 4cr for any continued item put in a trash can.
Die of Diabetic.

Note there is also the Starch Brand Ambassador.
Put Some Life Into It branch.
this gives you 6cr per kola brand product given away.
8cr at second level and 10cr at max level.
this is of course better then street cleaer but Im not sure how hard it is to give away 1200 cans of soda vs drinking and dumping it in the bin yourself.
just going to do quick math at max level.
2500cr for disk+2vial
10x1200= 12000-2500 = 9500cr.
so from previous math.
Net 1300.
Starch Brand Ambassador Put Some Life Into It 1200 cans of soda gain 9500cr
Net 10700cr.

You forgot to factor time. As in the time cost of buying and drinking 1200 cola's.

It's time/cost variable make's this never worth it.

Speaking of time, the post above is a high quality necrobump. It's a shame they didn't just say to ignore it and sell the vials, because I reckon OP has since moved on to other thoughts.

Oh it's never very far away from thinking about math and if something is worth doing while not even factoring in time. Plenty of games have things like this where even if you ignore the time investment you barely break even or you earn some insignificant amount of money/exp/whatever.

Of course most of the time when you factor in the time it takes you to actually do it vs doing something else in that time period, it almost always results in something else being worth more.

But I still find it good to do the math, especially in a game that's still early access. I've seen where after pointing out the math to the dev in a game that they realize they messed something up and fix it. Though I doubt that's the case here. It does feel like the implant is working as intended in regards to money involved. Though how fast it gives you the shakes does seem quick.

I swallow my words. OP clearly appreciated your effort.
