Is there a multiplayer planned?

I would really like to see a multiplayer mode, either a co-op, or something like an online competition. For example, 20 players solve cases among themselves, and if, for example, another player killed an NPC / another player, then this appears as a new murder case. Well, it is desirable to add a new map mode to this, which would be even larger than the largest map.
I would see the co-op mode like this, for example, 2-4 friends solve one case together, but it is more difficult to make these cases at the same time depending on the number of players, the more players investigate one case together, the more difficult it is. Or make a setting of this complexity.
Or, alternatively, add the system that I described above - a co-op competition

Multiplayer for games like this or in general have to be planned from the get-go it'd be very hard to add it in. That being said it isn't impossible to do, but chances are that it's not going to be added, would be fun though, co-op would be fun as a sherlock and wastson duo.

Yes, I understand that implementing multiplayer is very difficult, but I think I saw somewhere that the developer answered a similar question that he was planning multiplayer, but that was about six months ago.

Sorry, the developer said he didn't plan it, but this idea sounds very good, as he said.

The developer can't even manage the single-player aspect properly. And yet you wish to engage in multiplayer? Why would you subject your friends to such mediocrity?
