Citizens not showing up to work
Has anyone else ran into the issue of no one showing up to their jobs?

I'm running the latest experimental branch. Current city, everyone has stopped showing up to work and is either at home or wanders the streets for a while before returning home. Started a new city and no one has been to work in days.

Worst part is, no one can go to the black market or weapons dealers and so there's no murders happening.

I read from other people experiencing the same issues that they solved it "temporarily" by knocking on the manager's/shop door to "call" them there and then you might be able to interact with them normally.

I got off the experimental branch and people are starting to return to work. Other game breaking bugs on the old file still, so I'll keep playing this file while It's working.

yeah if you get in their way enough, you can break every NPC's schedule or reset it, i am not quite sure which. bonking them on the head, messing with them in their appartment and other interactions can cause their schedule to reset

Throwing coins at them work too... Apparently it's such an insult/attack that armed citizens start shooting at you while others randomly reset their current work schedule and go home.

same issue. Don't know if it's caused by mods but this is unplayable..

There was a bug where if you fast forwarded time or used fast travel it would break the NPCs' schedules. Don't know if they fixed that for 1.0.
