Not the Answer Achievement in 2 Minutes

I'm posting this becaause the Not The Answer achievement is completely bugged. I hope it helps someone.

1. Turn off Save File Compression in your gameplay settings.

2. Create a save file just before submitting a resolution form with the correct culprit selected.

3. Exit the game.

4. Open the save file folder here C:\Users\Username\AppData\LocalLow\ColePowered Games\Shadows of Doubt\Save

5. Locate your save file and open it in notepad

6. Now CTRL+F again and search for "nottheanswer". This will bring you to the Not The Answer achievement trigger within the uncompressed save file. You will see the following,

"notTheAnswerFlag":0

7. Change the 0 to a 1 so it now reads,

"notTheAnswerFlag":1

8. Save the Notepad savefile. Exit Notepad

9. Launch Shadows of Doubt, load your altered save file

10. Submit the resolution form

11. The achievement will ping! If it doesn't drink a Kola

Wish it had worked but nope, even after drinking a kola and a coffee. I don't get it, the person died in the street, the killer was the first person on their contact book. I didn't get caught or attacked whatsoever, had the address - name - and finger print, but nothing. Did this too, and still nothing. Do you need to hand it in with the full thing filled out, I only did 3 of the 5. I hate bugged achievements especially ones that people have had issues for over a year, and they don't fix it, as I play games for the achievements. :/

did you arrest them? i'm pretty sure if they were arrested it won't work, as i tried today and i got the achievement just fine

Thank you for trying to help, I thankfully finished them all a while back, unsure of what I did differently anymore, but glad they're all done. I spent 8 hours doing the sync disks achievement, then couldn't find the last one so spent another 8 hours doing it again lol, the ♥♥♥♥ I do for achievements.
