Special Characters in Names.

Just how do we type these in the game plz? Or better yet, can the DEV team PLZ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ remove these characters from the names list please?

I understand inclusion but maybe have a way IN GAME to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ make it so we dont need a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ google search on how to get the special characters to work.

this is a colossal overreaction. you can find these NPCs in literally any phone book, of which there are so many that you are hardly ever 10 feet from one.

You don't need to type someone's whole name, there should be enough non special characters to get a match from a database and you can select a citizen profile for the times you need a full name.

When you are typing on the crunchers sometimes it is very difficult to get certain names to come up. Ones with special characters in them don't always show even if you choose another part of the name to try and get it to trigger. And yes, I know to scroll down in the list... The special characters seem to bug things out. OP isn't the only one to have issues with them.

I use the on screen keyboard to type out names when I get that glitch.

If you're looking for person with weird name or checking company database and don't know names to start with, you can just type space and any letter. Space is the space between characters' first and last names and letter will show anyone with surname starting by the letter. But I agree that it's a bit weird to have special characters in names when the ingame keyboards don't seem to have them... I mean, real world, it's damn common for even government papers to drop umlauts or other special characters because some secretary somewhere was too lazy to type the name properly.
