Does anyone else get eerie feelings or is it just me?

This is gonna sound weird but does anyone get the feeling of being followed? plus those weird vent sounds that pop up every now and again make me feel like someone other than me is crawling in them, and since the new update i started avoiding windows lol, made me realize this game can easily turn horror if killers can actually come after you.

i believe npcs do use the vents, one case i had, the the sniper npc had an open vent that went to their neighbours room which was also the only person in their address book. i couldnt find their weapon so i figured id check the vent that was open and it brought me to their friends room. still couldnt find the rifle though
