Case answers are incorrect, except for the fingerprints ?

I'm trying to turn a case over, but it appears that all but one of my answers are incorrect (who the suspect is, where they live and the murder weapon are all showing as false).

What really confuses me is that the only thing I seemed to have gotten right is the "Do you have evidence that places the killers at a crime scene?", by providing a fingerprint. This fingerprint was confirmed as being the suspect whose name I provided.

How can I get this section right if the fingerprint I'm providing aren't the ones belonging to the person I'm apparently incorrectly accusing?

Turns out I’m a moron.

I found the fingerprint at the victim workplace and linked it to a colleague with an Asian-sounding name.

I then proceeded to get the name wrong by grabbing the address of ANOTHER colleague with a similar, also Asian-sounding name, before proceeding to her home and beating her senseless while screaming « I GOT YOU NOW, CRIMINAL SCUM ».

No wonder she wouldn’t confess to anything. :(

Are you actually typing the names in, or selecting the person from the case board? I find using the case board a lot easier, since I can just look for the fingerprint and link all the evidence from that.
