Retiring
Why do only 0.5% of people have the "too old for this" achievement by retiring. I played The dead of night mission (the tutorial mission), and after I solved the case, the case "thing" when you get your cases said "get your resolution forms" and then I left my possessions to some random dude, and retired lol. Is this just luck, or is it like this normally?

Achievements were added to the game only a few months ago.

Retirement is the last thing a player does in a usual playthrough- it's the ending. Considering I have never once retired in my 75+ hours (because i just make a lot of new saves) it's very believable that that achievement has such a low rate. I've also not completed the tutorial after the achievement update.

That's normal- retirement is just reaching the max social credit level and pressing a button. The amount of social credit needed to reach retirement is what the "game length" setting does.

You need to reach max social level to retire. This level depends on the game length setting you select when starting a new save; normal is 8, very short is 2, etc. I assume you selected one of the lower options, so the tutorial case probably gave you enough XP to retire straight away, whereas most players will have to do 5 or 6 cases at the minimum.
