Tail and Acquire broken...

Doing my first tail and acquire job and the person with the briefcase is just standing at the meeting point with no-one coming to meet them. Must have waited about 6 in game hours and nothing... Has anyone encountered this and know how to get around it?

Those tail and acquire missions have not worked for me even one single time in my 80 hours of gameplay

Damn that sucks, might just have to drop the case and take a different one then. Good to know its not just me!

is the mission old? maybe the contact was your last murder case or the murderer thats always a possibility

dropping cases has no penalty and new cases will always show up on case boards around the city so you can do that without messing anything up

It doesn't happen often to me, but always disappointing when it does. Though these days I tend to avoid them, as I've had to ditch the mission mid run too often because of sudden murders.
