How do the "Let's Play" notes work?
I've got one at the start of the case, then again when a 2nd was killed. The only letter I have is double "A" just after the dot, with the first filled out. But, I looked through the gov. database, and there isn't anyone with a double first letter of their last name.

Also, for both deaths, the only ones on camera around the times of death are enforcers, and when I try to talk to them, there is no prompts.

And, 3 people I've looked at have guns, all the type of the Murder weapon.
I'm lost.

Not sure, never had someone leave a callsign like that but maybe it is their initials?
Look for names like Alan Aseago or other names that both start with 'A'

Maybe? Other messages here on the forum says it should be first letter, dot, last name. So, if it is a cipher, it should be something with double letters, unless there is a bug?
If it is a bug, this is one of the areas of the game that need polish.

The "lets play" note is an anagram of the killer's name. The first name is only an initial, after the period is their last name. its meant to be a hint, not a fully completed puzzle. You get one extra letter every time the murderer gets another kill to make it easier to catch them if you're struggling.
scan the note for fingerprints- that will be your killer.

a ton of NPCs carry weapons. doesnt make them the murder weapon. a large portion of the city is armed at all times

and i dont know what you mean by "double letters". can you post a screenshot?

Something the game does not really bother to mention is that having a complete file on a person does not make them automatically appear in situations where the client gives you limited information. For example, if you have all the info on a guy named John Cena, and you found a note that said "J.C" in their house, the "J.C?" clue is COMPLETELY SEPARATE and won't lead to any autocompletion in your notes. Same thing if you have all of Cena's data and you get a job looking for him, you still have to manually pull up and pin his information.

On my lunch break atm.
On the first note, it’s something like: [first letter].AA[rest of the letters], then the translation underneath: _._____
I don’t remember how long it was.

The second added the A: _._____

The same idea, but the equlivent spot in the top was O’s.

That’s fine, I know that.

I’m not Sure, but I think there was a fingerprint on the 2nd note? Belongs to nobody I found yet, if so.

What do I do when there is one feature known about the killer? Do other jobs till the next is killed?

Also, so I don’t need to make a new post, what items have no use? Rope, screwdrivers, drugs, etc.
