Lost Pipe job

I found a memo for this task. It's just from someone named Gavin in an apartment building, no address. He says it's between floors 1 and 3.

Does this mean it could be in any apartment on floors 1,2,and 3? What about ground floor, does it count that as "1"? Reason I ask is because the game still refers to me as being on the first floor when I'm on the ground floor.

Also is the pipe going to be unique in any way? Or will I have to find Gavin to get his prints to ID his pipe? lol. At that point it's more effort than the payout is worth honestly.

Yes, it should be somewhere on floors 1, 2, and 3. I *think* the memos calls the ground floor 0 if it's an option?

It'll be a completely ordinary pipe, usually out in the open somewhere, like on the floor, a shelf or a table. If there are any shops or diners on those floors, it can potentially be in there or in their backrooms, but I haven't had a lost item spawn in a somebody's apartment. Not sure about business offices.

Some lost items won't count as stealing to pick up, but I've had some in restaurants that have, so...

Gavin will most likely live in the building the memo was posted in if that helps in locating him.
