they haven't pushed the patch to the stable yet afaik. But yea, expect there to always be some late starters. Its more 'go to work at this time' not 'be at work by this time'. And if its far enough away, it could take a while. Smaller cities probably help with this problem.
There was a bug (Recently fixed on the experimental patch) that caused NPCs to get stuck in a loop of picking up and putting down an object, preventing them from going to work.
I'm not on the experimental version, no. the problem is they just refuse to go to work. I'll literally be watching someones door for them to leave to go to work and they just screw around for a few hours before leaving for work. they arent stuck on anything, they just love being late lol. It can't just be me having this issue right?
NPCs for whatever reason don't actually KNOW where they work, they merely figure it out upon picking up their wallets / other associated objects I believe.
Anyway, switch to the experimental patch. It fixes this.
