password to gunshop missing

hi! I have found 3 graffitis for the weapons dealer and all of them are completely blank. I assumed this means there is no password so went back and nope! Still require a password. bad generation i guess? Is there anything in the game files I can find the password to

Yup, that's definitely a bug. Never seen that one before.

If you really want to get access to their sales records you may wan't to visit when they're nobody about. They have opening times like everybody else.

The following is an exploit that I'd usually advise against using as it breaks immersion, but in this case I'd say it's fine because the game is preventing you from accessing it anyway.

You'll still need to break in after hours, but if you pin the sales records in your case board you can view them at any time. It updates automatically, no need to revisit.

man I always get the strange unfixable bugs in games!! Just my luck i guess

thank you so much! i think I'll use that hack but travel to the weapons dealer each time and pretend to give a password then just open the book. not the best way to keep immersion but its something! thank you for your time and energy :)

I’m having a similar issue, there’s the gun graffiti but no word underneath. Plus there’s only one i’ve been able to find and i have looked everywhere. The basement guns dealer doesn’t have a closing time and is always open so idk what to do 😭

okay i managed to get in but only bc i found the writing on a random wall and not under the graffiti

It is some kind of graphical bug. There is a workaround tho I think - try saving and relaunching the game (maybe even just loading a save without relaunch will work) and sometimes the graffiti will fix itself and password will be visible.

This worked for me, thank you! I saved and reloaded like you said, and there it was.
