"I can' shot somebody, but hitting them with a revolver until they have no more teeths? That's okay"
If someone pulls a gun on you, I do not see the problem in ones ability to return fire or at least defend ones self on the same level as those doing the attacking.
Like, it would be nice to have a system just for hostile weapons use, where you are allowed to use the gun, but if you use it in vain or without good reason...then there will be consequences. Like serious consequences. Like game over...you are going to jail and have to set up a new character, consequences.
I have found the arrest system to be a bit strange too, while being a PI is interesting, I almost sort of wish still being on city payroll so I can bring someone in for questioning.
Than again, there are so many games out there like that, so maybe the devs wanted to take a drastically different route to set it apart from the other ones.
The city doesn't HAVE a payroll to solve crimes... That is the underling point of the game. Are you not paying attention at all?
The dev doesn't want guns, and I agree with them. Just being able to walk in and shoot a person will remove 90% of the gameplay of the game. It is uneeded.
What is with all these pathetic people demanding an easy button? If you all want guns so bad, go play a game with guns in it. There are MILLIONS of games with guns you can use. Why do you all need to force them into one of the few without them?

Little defensive aren't we?
