Stolen Item Help

Item was stolen from bedroom, I checked literally everywhere in the bedroom for prints, nothing but the residents, checked the bedroom door on both sides too. Checked the entrance door for prints and there was nothing there either.

The case was 4 days old when i picked it up and too long ago for apartment building cameras to show anything.

Had another one like this earlier today that I abandoned because of the same as above.

I often find prints inside drawers or safes

The prints are likely long gone. If you have an older save, you can try using that to look for fingerprints.

Otherwise, you just check all their coworkers, friends in their address book, and neighbors.
I'd like to say you can narrow down by their work rota to see who could possible have done it, but in my stolen item case, the culprit stole it during his work hours anyway.

It happened to me as well then I remembered to check the address book and check their safe and after 5 apartments, I manage to find the perpetrator, after I beat them up accidentally. Felt smart at the end as well

Yeah, I had something like that before too, there was just the fingerprints of the person and the partner in the apartment. And after a few hours it failed because an important item (I think the one that was stolen) was destroyed - it was a wine bottle😆
But as the posts above, always check the work colleagues or the address book, because they always say it must be someone they know.
