How to "Turn on the bedside light"

The very first tutorial objective is the turn on the bedside light, but it doesn't explain how to do so. I've tried every single button on my mouse and keyboard and nothing works. How?

Yeah, you need to look around in the dark until you find the lamp by your bedside, then interact with it by pointing at it and clicking. It'll display the prompt when you hover over it.

Get out of bed
Look at the lamp, the base of the lamp tends to have a better hitbox.
Click on it.
