an issue is physics where objects are tracked to exactly where they were you'd be getting lots of objects needed to be stored causing issues with hanging from area to area.
Though one funny thing is I made a save die because I overloaded a diner with bins and so it makes massive fines for me like 30k in fines due to the bins glitching out and spewing rubbish everywhere
The thing that's good is its not unsolvable problems just a case of optimising so we get the potential for a bigger city without major decreases in performance
I expected a somewhat big City, like.. i dont know.. maybe 15 to 30 buildings in each direction and not like 5 when choosing the biggest possible City size
There's an upper limit somewhere in the 10s where it gets too unstable and crashes, but it's very possible to have larger than very large cities.
Yeah, pretty much. not to mention there aren't that many variations of building types in the game to begin with. Not enough business types, not enough building types either.
So ultimately, a large city already feels like a lot of sloppy-pasta, an even larger grid would just mean more walking for no good reason tbh.
