tips for finding someone with minimal info?

all i got is age, shoe size, build, and eye color. it's a photography job. not sure how to find this guy. any tips?

check the details tab on the pinned job posting, sometimes the name is hidden in there and doesn't update 'unknown citizen'

other than that, hunt down the job poster

if you got it via a payphone, you can trace the number (or just call it again and listenfor 'post the findings at myhouseaddress'

if you got it via 'meet at x, look for the person holding a cola' that is the job poster

it is usually a neighbor or a co-worker (not always)

I already tooked a picture of the target, but nothing happens and is for delivery under the door, but don,t have the adress of the door.

Click on a different tab on your case board, then go back to the tab of your current case. The next step of the job should be shown in a small text box in the upper right corner of the screen. You can also click on Resolve to see which checkmarks are already set in the form that tracks your progress.

If the text says that you still need to take the photograph (and if the "resolve" form doesn't have a checkmark for the "take photo" step), then you either have the wrong guy (which is possible, sometimes the criteria are so broad that several different citizen match the description), or the game didn't recognize that your photo shows that person (which is another bug, the detection of what's actually on a photo seems very unreliable for now).

If the quest tracker and the resolve form have recognized that you took a photo of the correct target, then the quest should tell you to call your client again, and show you the number. You don't have to slip the photo under an apartment door (at least I didn't), you have to call the client again, even though the instructions that you got while taking the job were different. That's yet another bug.

Take the photo and pin it in your case file.

Then click the resolve button in the top right. In the section where it says take a photo, you can select the photo you just took.

Once this is done, the mission objective should update and automatically give you a navigation arrow to the deposit point.

There's many cases where none of these techniques will work. There's other things you can try too. And sometimes they will work. But a majority of the time, you simply don't have the information in any way without researching citizens at complete random. Which ruins those cases.
