Viewing surveillance of apartments?`

Where can i find the cruncher to view the camera footage in the apartment buildings?
I've read that there should be security room somewhere but there just isnt lol.
On the ground floor there are two but they are for the businesses on each side of the building and in the basement its just the phone router.

It seems that sometimes there just won't be security rooms, even if there's security cameras

I've had the same situation in my (randomly generated) city. Two security rooms on the ground floor, both belonging to businesses left and right, no security room for the building. Not sure if this is a pre-designed building where the security room was just forgotten (or deliberately omitted), or if it's a procedurally generated building that just couldn't fit one.

Thats annoying :(

I had a stolen necklace case and i couldnt find any worthy leads and the only way i can see to solve it would be CCTV footage.
Any suggestions of other ways peeps please feel free as i'm sure another one like this will come along aha

I usually find the camera rooms for the apartment several floors up. Like floor 3ish. Just go up the stairs one by one.

Yeah i read that somewhere else, nothing im afraid just apartments

There are two smallish apartment buildings (5 floors) in my city...each one is kind of split in two halves--two ground floor lobbies, and two stairwells. Floors 2 and 3 I think are connected, but the others are separate. Every building in my city except those two have camera rooms.

It seems that in the current build of the game, certain apartments will either not have a security room at all, or the security cameras will not be linked to the proper security room at all, rendering them useless for the player.

Check the map floor-by-floor, looking for a single small room attached to the hall. I've found it as high up as floors 5 or 6 before.

Yeah i've found it in most now, it just seems like one of the complex's doesnt have one. Also means there are no Tenant records either which is a bit annoying (The landlord is also the landlord of one of the other apartments and he only seems to have the documents for the other one lol)

Pickett Heights apartment from the pre-made map doesn't have a security room. An office in Stubbs Deluxe don't even have a cruncher in the security room.
