I thought so too, but the last name i looked up there were two people with that last name, and for that to be a coincidence is...well pretty much impossible. And it's not just non-latin letters because the name in question was McGee
Which means you will miss all peaple in the first two pages.
exemple : I search "AB", get 10 results, so i Scroll to page 3.
Then I search "AC", only get 3 results, so 3rd result page(Which I am right now) is empty.
Always remember to scroll back to page 1 before attemptig a new search on computers.
Non-latin letters get cut off on the map view as well, but not in all contexts so it seems there is some issue with the fonts used for some views.
Also to anyone that suspects the directory may be missing names, you are correct. Anyone without an address (such as the homeless folks sleeping in the streets) will not appear in the directory at all and this seems intended. You can verify this by checking before and after you purchase an apartment and your own name will begin to show in the directory.
Except every person I found had an address, cuz I looked them up in the govt database
well in fairness I dunno if the second McGee is homeless. i knew the name beforehand. I also try to avoid the govt database like the dickens, but I don't have a robust profile and also I'm not very good at my job
Okay so I just booted up the game, ran to the shacks up the street from my 12th floor apartment and grabbed a wallet off a guy named Devon. He has no address listed in his wallet and none appears on his profile. I went to the Gov DB and printed his sheet and no address appears. It just shows as "Address: " with nothing there. I looked him up under D. Vaugn in the directory and he's not there.
All this to say: I am pretty sure I was correct earlier that homeless people do not have addresses and do not show up in the directory and this is because anyone without a fixed address is not listed in the directory.

You will ignore the open case where I'm clearly stalking my neighbors; that is perfectly normal detective behavior and I am a perfectly normal detective who doesn't break in and steal your cushions and starch kola.
lmao that's real detective sleuthing right there. so I wonder if its both and that its bugged and also intentional in some cases. I'm actually more curious about "business spider" though. Like is it a murder, or is there a spider with a tailored suit running around your world making deals?
Thats...pretty awesome. Plus the anagram actually isn't obvious because you cant find them in the directory.
