Anyone have a guide on the Graffiti spawn in crime scenes?

A lot of the ones I get seemed garbled. It took me a while to realize that some are actually readable and give you hints.

Anyone have ideas of the meaning of those hints and what to generally expect of those hints with how to pursue the case, or... a better way of reading the garbled text font sprayed on the walls?

Have seen others say that if you buy a paper after the murder the details on what the graffiti are supposed to say are in there.

honestly in its current state the graffiti is both broken and generally useless

but i DID see somebody say that graffiti is usually in the killer's handwriting type.

PUT A PIN ON IT - seems to mean nothing
XY PAID - XY are the initials of the victim, PAID also seems to mean nothing.

Other than flavour I'm not sure what can be drawn from the grafitti - handwriting match maybe?

Yeah I saw exactly "Put a pin on it". I wrote this discussion because I was wondering for potential deeper meaning for them, the graffiti, but also I struggled with reading them. I thought this specific graffiti "Put a pin on it" meant more to influence the player on their speed.

There is 1 that says <VICTIM'S NAME> & <FIRST INITIAL OF KILLER's NAME> FOREVER

It is the only graffiti message I'm aware of that's useful.

I got a graffiti on the wall but beind a closet and curtains .. Unreadable but i took a photo (it link automaticly to the victim appartement).

Later when i visited the killer appartement, dont know what i do but the photo was link to the killer appartement automaticly at some point. (At the end the graffiti photo was link to victim and killer appartement). For testing i use the graffiti photo as a evidence and it work.

XY PAID - for me had a meaning, the killer was a gambling den owner, so the victim obviously paid for his debts

i think "put a pin in it" might just be a joke on the game mechanics. after all a lot of the game is just frameworks with a couple of examples thrown in to show how they might work.

I don't know if 'put a pin in it' means it is someone from the victims workplace but that seems to be a pattern that I am observing.

I once found a crumpled note with garbled letters above some characters to demonstrate how they were supposed to be formatted which looked something like _._____

This was an open and shut case. It was pretty obvious that the letters needed to be arrange into first initial + surname to find my killer. What also helped to bolster my certainty was that the letters of the victims name were also rearranged on the wall of the crime scene in the exact same fashion.

If I'm not mistaken the wall writing might also indicate the perpetrators handwriting. Don't quote me on that. It is just a thought that I haven't actually remembered to look into when I have had the opportunity.

I am not sure if they physically go somewhere to give their statement, to be honest i only check the newspaper if I don't have any leads

or if it's the heart thing crime so I can read the killers first name initial

Every freaking time I see a graffiti, it's behind some object and I can't even try see if it means something cuz I can't freaking read it. It sometimes bothers me :|
