What time does the pawn shop open? bugged?

title.... hey, im loving the game so far it's so fun :D only issue i have is the pawn shop is never open, iv restarted multiple times and it very rarely opens and when it does there's never any employees, i know i can sell stuff in my apartment but just wondering if im messing something up with the pawn shops xD

Usually in the evenings. Once they DO open, try to ask the employee their hours. If they truly never open, break in, and see if you can track an employee's information down. Most NPCs have a work schedule somewhere in their house, if not at the workplace, and any hours you see somebody works the place is surely open. or, it should be.

Wait how do you sell stuff at your apartment? Also I think if you access the backroom computer you can check work times for all employees, works for all workplaces.

You just drop items in your apartment and then use the apartment decor menu to sell them.

i just discovered a trick go to your apartment drop all your items you want to sell there and then check the items tab in your apartment and you will see the option to sell them you dont need a pawn shop now your apartment counts as a pawnshop let me know if this works for you guys and not just for me

yeah i mentioned this already in my original post xD but it's still nice to go to the pawnshop xD plus you can buy stuffs too

I can see this being revised. It does seem like on all of my playthroughs the place often seems to be shut at opening times. They show up eventually but it is a pain at the start when you have some diamonds to shift but no extra inventory slots or an apartment to sell at.

I feel like they might be shut for full days sometimes. I don't know if they have days where they aren't scheduled to open at all or what.

10AM to midnight usually in my experience.
Problem is that you're usually doing case work all day and sneaking around at night and then you try to sell off stuff it just happens to be after 12am but before 10am

They also seem to not have many employees, so if the shopkeeper who is on during a specific time of day is homeless or something due to a murder/crime, or a bug they may just never come to work again...

There's also this weird situation : when someone (either you or an employee) leaves the door unlocked before leaving the pawn shop, it will stay unlocked forever. The shop will seem open, but nobody will be working inside. Strangely, if you lock the door back (by finding the key or else), workers will come back at some point.

They can also just be late to work sometimes. Open time was 10am. The workers showed up at 11.10am.

Highly depends on where they live, like having them living near the Shop is way better for their working rota than having them live on the other side of the city.

And pawn shop employees by themselves might be too poor to live in a high apartment on their own, but they definitely can be a partner of someone, who lives up there, which can also contribute heavily to them being late.

And obviously, having shopkeepers being murdered is just very unlucky, since nobody takes their place^^

it seems no one is ever on time for their shift. Actually it feels like their schedule is completely arbitrary.
