submit photo as evidence

How do I do this for the take photos of someone? I have taken the photo and selected the target, but how would I submit said photo? Is there a way to like print a photo from your camera? Or do I need to use the CCTV cameras?

After you take the photo, pin it to the board. From there when you press resolve you can select that pinned item as the evidence. Keep in mind the game currently does not count photos as evidence for murders, but for side quests this is the process

When you take the photo it appears in your investigation screen (F), before you close that screen or the photo be sure to pin it by clicking the red pin at the top

I will try this next time. Do I need to set the target before doing this? Because I think I am missing a step somewhere :D

No, just when you use the camera and take a photo it displays in the investigation board and can be pinned. If you click on 'Connections' tab in that piece of evidence (the photo) it will include the individuals who are in the photo. This is also how you can get a picture of an unidentified person and then ask around town for a ame.

I took the picture and pinned it to the board, it automatically linked it to the target. The problem is that there's 0 feedback on what to do next, the sidequest still says to "take a photo of the target". What do I do?

You usually need to manually select the photo in the "resolve" menu (click the button in the top right corner).

What does it say when you click resolve case? There should either be an option to select the photo off your board or you turn the case into the hiring party. It could also be bugged

Just found the answer myself! You have to select the picture you took and pinned to your pinboard and go to "resolve", then select it. It's not very clear how you have to do this, I wish the game explained it a bit better.

in resolve case there should be an option to select something next to "take a photo of the target." hit that, then select the picture. At that point you SHOULD be able to hand the case in, but I had a photo case break on me, where I could not hand the photo in. so.
