Fiona Martin case records: Red Gum Reaper
There I was, first day in Norwich if it was good, stewing over a few odd jobs, one, looking to a theft appealed to me and I was called to ask about some daniel fella. Before I could however I heard the chatter on police radio, a murder at Ch'oe parks. I get a report document and head down, ignoring the peeler I looked to the scene, first struck by 3 bullet casings for an 8mm pistol right at the entrance, no fingerprints. Some bloodied footprints led to the bathroom for size 7 heels. It was a moment before I noticed the body on the threshold to the bedroom.

The corpse was left there, the body belonging to an Adelaide Hunter had bullet wounds, matching the casings I had earlier seen. But more peculiar was the red markings around the corpse, I had heard tale of the Red Gum, a fanatic capitalist cult operating in the city with some gibberish written on the walls telling me a similar story, whoever killed Adelaide had an interest in their cause. Nothing was stolen and the only prints I could find belonged to two people: Adelaide herself, and a second pair that as far as I could gather belonged to their partner, Ji-a Chu. I naturally followed them as my first lead. They worked at a local shop and I tracked that way, sneaking in to get more information. The owner of the business, Iria Falcon, had V-mailed the victim something suggesting. A jealous lover perhaps? As I looked into the matter I couldn't find Chu anywhere, waiting at the store, not a look at her, the only times I saw her being in the employee records, the lead went dead.

I went back to the apartment, scouring once more, I found what I suspected to be Ji-a chu's footprints, boots, not matching with the shoes I had found and once more couldn't find anything resembling a gun. It hit me like a brick to the back of the head, The phone! I looked back to the last call, taking place a quarter of an hour before I had deduced the murder to have happened at its latest, I headed over to Chehansi's apartment, he refused to tell me any information and I broke in later that night as he slept, searching the apartment I found he wore ordinary shoes, not the heels, and didn't seem to own a gun. The lack of prints at the original apartment didn't help me when I scanned his fingers as he slept. But I did find two things of note: first. a book from the Red Gum cult, he certainly matched the suspected religious motive. And prescription for glasses, I found glassed in the vics apartment but from what I saw of employee records Ji-a wore sunglasses not spectacles, finally, a hint of a lead, I rushed back, double checking the prints on the glasses! They were Ji's. Another lead dead in the water.

I kept searching after a handful of other small leads after that, none of them as useful as the prior leads, I briefly suspected the neighbour, but alas, wrong shoes, and no gun. I checked once more for Ji, couldn't find them. I had to, for the time being call it quits, hopefully after Daniels case is solved I can come back and find the identity of the Red Gum Reaper. Perhaps them killing again is all I can hope for?

-- Now ooc stuff --
I am genuinely out of ideas here! And would like any input or suggestions from all thee looking into this discussion. This game is so good and I am so infuriated with my inability to identify another lead for this.
