I had a 1070 before upgrading, i am sorry to be that guy, but it's just not any where near adequate for newer games. works fine for many things that are not GPU intensive like 4x games, and on moderate (sub 1920*1080) resolutions.
But this is a GPU intensive game.
4090 is obviously overkill, but i will say that with a 13th gen processor, a lot of ram and a 4090, this game is utilizing a fair portion of the machine, playing on 4k, 144htz with max settings.
Afterwards, a CPU upgrade really helped out with my FPS.
Could just be from the combination of components that I use.
Highly doubt MHW runs a 60 FPS on that rig, and but WoW is an old ass game, WWE games looks bad and have barely anything to calculate, same for SF6. It's stupid to compare games that are nothing alike.
No doubt this game have serious optimisation issue, but a 1060 in 2024 is almost a decade old and IS outdated. Absolutely no way to get 60 FPS in any AA/AAA game with that. Of course most people don't have 3-4k to throw on a PC, but at some point stop being that deluded
