Dropping things often results in them disappearing

Have a shelf on my apartment for storing items, often times when I place an item on a shelf it just straight up disappears from existence

just placed a microcruncher down on a desk in a new apartment, turned it on and me and the microcruncher fell through the floor lol

Only had this problem with my bar shelf. Display cabinet and normal kitchen shelf seem fine so far.

usually when this happens it still appears on the room item list in the edit apartment tab, I just store it then pull it back out. I've ran into this several times since I don't sell my diamonds and just display them in my apartment.

My save seems to be extra buggy, cuz when I try to do this it causes even more issues, requiring a quick save and reload lol
My edit decor menu also gets bugged sometimes where I can't edit things anymore
I guess I could try to verify integrity of game files and see if that does anything (edit: it did not)

The Builder is bugs like hell, is a festival of save/reload. Adding a working light is a pain. But when everything is in place, cant be more cozy.

It's awesome, I love decorating and buying new places, but it definitely needs to be ironed out

I never lost a item in my safe. My safe i full of upgrade, like 12 upgrades stack one over another and a pile of diamonds. I im testing if something will desapear or what .. nothing move in a week. But if i place food in my fridge it desapear after sometime.

Check the apartment directly beneath yours, items that disappear often end up there. It will be considered theft though, so plan accordingly.
