Stuck on "Take a photo of the target" quest

i have a side quest to take a photo of someone. i got the briefcase, it says they live at this specific apartment on the first floor. says they are type a fingerprint. i checked the floor i enter on checked all the doors no fingerprint a. i went up 1 floor to the 100's and checked, no fingerprint a. i suck at this, how do i go about actually finding out who the target is at this point?

If the info says the target lives on the first floor of a specific building, then you've lucked out. Just knock on each door of that floor and ask for prints. If they refuse or aren't home, try sneaking inside and look for prints. It shouldn't take you long to find the correct target.

If you checked every door (from top to bottom, they have a lot of fingerprints on them usually) for fingerprints on floor 1, and found no matching fingerprints.
I would try to sneak inside the apartments to scan for fingerprints, and search for residents infos.

I think fingerprints vanish over time. Maybe he wasn't at home for a long time.
Then try to get more informations about the residents from this apartment/floor.
Where they work.
Maybe you find files of them with a fingerprint on it.
Check there workplace(s) for files and fingerprints. etc.

Detective is sometimes a time consuming job :D

Fingerprints are not just on the doorknob people open them upsidedown or something.
If the note says they live on the 1st floor, they live on the first floor remember they can have partners and visitors.

If the apopartement have 2 plp live inside, you have 2 set of fingerprint on the main door. But the second set is not on the handle but somewhere else on the door.

gotcha, ok ill try that next time i have that quest. right now im trying to vandalize a home, not sure if im even in the right home LOL
