New apartment + can't close case bug

What the title says. I can't close the dead of the night case even though I've already did everything and handed in the form. Tried talking to Beth and she gives me a key to the basement, but it shows up as trespassing. Tried to do the fixes I've found here: closing the case (which I can't) and going back to the og apartment and waiting for the quest popup. None worked.

Have you opened a new case board? Think there's a bug that breaks them giving you the key if you open one.

same...there is no numbers in the basement, not even sure which apartment key i was given.

For everyone having this problem, the solution is simple:
Press F and actually select the Dead of the Night case. If it's already selected, try creating a new folder and selecting it again.
You need to have a task on the upper right corner to talk to her, otherwise it will not trigger her giving you the keys.

Devs should fix this by automatically shifting the focus of the case back to Dead of the Night when talking with her.

So i found my apartment. wen to talk to that person again. It seems tehre is 2 issues, i wasn given a key and apartment registers as a trespassing...

Wait I'm supposed to get a new apartment? I assumed the game wanted me to do some side jobs, so I did that and got a different apartment in a different building. I thought the game was just like, "Ok, you're on your own buddy. We even took the toliet."

I also can't close the dead of night, but I'll try talking to this beth person.

I had to reload a previous save. Creating a new case before closing Dead of Night causes this bug.

Yup, I rolled back to before I created the new case and waited until I received my apartment and unlocked the door. Everything worked from there
