Do Enforcers effect crime scenes?
I initially would rush to murder reports to beat the cops cause I assumed enforcers would muck up crime scenes by taking evidence and leaving extra prints but after a few cases it seems to me all they do is put up yellow tape. Anyone know if there actually is some effect or benefit to being the first responder (or even the finder)?
If they don't that would certainly be something that should be included later; make them take shell casings or obvious calling cards (though maybe some might fall beyond their view for more thorough detectives to find...) and introduce an evidence locker to charm/sneak your way into.

It'd be nice to be able to talk to the first responder to get their prints or any particular details. Or maybe, y'know, the ability to examine the crime scene legally.

I've seen them on murder scene, snooping around and evaluating situation, but i don't think they leave any prints behind.
Issue wwith them doing just about ANY actual police work will make it so if you get a late call on murder scene, it will already be taped off and have someone standing outside, so potentially tampered. So in this world all enforcers do is make it look like they work and be jerks about it.

That's been a common theme I've seen in the forums, especially after receiving your case form. You should in theory be able to to show it to the officer to let you in, maybe at the expense of the officers muddying the crime scene or something. To trade off visiting the scene first or getting your form first. I think it logically should be in the game.

They kinda do, for example, when they walk in to the crime scene their footprints is contaminating the scene of the crime, they also touch things like doors they interact with by opening and closing doors, and frequently they use the bathroom at the victims home, so you'll find extra fingerprints and footprints. So it becomes a little bit hard to solve the case but once you follow the pattern they patrol at the crime scene its easy to distinguish who is who, its just added process of eliminations lol.

Oh so they do leave extra prints? I had encountered a lot of enforcers running around multiple crime scenes but only ended up scanning the Vic, their partner, and the perp, so I assumed they weren't adding prints.

It's very rare they actually do leave any fingerprints, the only extra fingerprints you will find that's from the enforcers is the doors they touch to open and close them, but the guarantee contamination they leave at the scene is their footprints. if you look at the floor you'll notice footprints all over the place, sometimes one of them is the murderer but with extra footprints you're gonna have to do extensive detective work and do a processes of elimination to eliminate your possible suspects.

But yes, enforcers do leave prints.

During my tutorial mission, I was supposed to find someone. I found them dead in their apartment. I broke into their workplace and found an email warning them that someone was coming for them.

I looked up the person who sent the warning, broke into their apartment and they were dead too, but there was an enforcer hiding in the bedroom with his gun drawn and he immediately started shooting me.

Thats like the third time I failed the tutorial lol. I'm a ♥♥♥♥ detective haha.
