how does one remove the stinky status before owning an apartment? hijack people's shower while they sleep/are at work?

I'm ashamed to say i used the shower of the deceased victim who's murder i was investigating. One day i hope to have my own flat with a shower (which i beleive you can buy, by keeping an eye out at bars and restaurants where the job listings are pinned to the wall)

yep its possible to buy apartments, but I don't think its easy to make enough money for it before you start stinking :)

Step 2: Politely explain to the resident that they are about to be beaten unconscious so that you may enjoy their shower and towel

You can also use perfume.

Yeah, I'd recommend carrying some perfume. Using it removes the debuff, and I think it can be used several times. Be careful not to throw it if you stash it somewhere, it'll shatter.

Go to an appartment and smash on doors until nobody answers and/or watch for people leaving. Break in have have a nice bath and maybe a snack :)

but I was sure there had to be a non-shower solution, more accessible and in line with not breaking the law, and there is :)
