How do I load and shoot a pistol?

weird, whats the point of being able to buy and sell guns & ammo, then? o_O

i think it's just there so npcs can buy their murder weapons, this is one of the ways you can find the perp (ledger in store if gun is the murder weapon)

don't think there are any npc-only shops so it's probably just npcs can use the player shops

You can use a sword (buy one at a pawn shop) which is basically a one or two hit knockout on anyone, so you've got pretty good offense regardless. Or an incapacitor grenade if you really want to blast em.
