Hi all, bought a safe for my apartment but can't seem to open it. Wasn't given a combo and not sure if I'm able to set one. Is this just bugged for now?

if you can interact with it, you can try using a code breaker

Codes are tied to a person, so it's probably 1234, same as your cruncher's password.

1234 was not the right one for me, guess I need to use a codebreaker -_-
Edit- Turns out it was 0000 for the new vintage safe I bought for my place.

I was able to interact and open mine with 1234. Not sure what happened to yours :(

you need to use a codebreaker on it, then when its open you look at it and hit 'arm' then use it and enter 0000, close it and then you should be able to use it properly

Purchased safes are quite buggy. If you buy one and it gives the entry wound bug, just save and reload and it should work itself out to use 1234.

However, it's possible (I did it by trying to fix the safe by removing/replacing it a few times in the apartment) to get it into another bugged state, where it resets to use 0000.
