Dialogue Expansion
Deviating from the myriads topics arguing about guns or no guns, i wanted to ask something to the devs.
Was tackling my first proc gen murder and, since it happened in the streets, the first order of business after identifying the victim was to check out their apartment, where i found their partner which, albeit rude, was unharmed. I was quite surprise although by the lack of an option to tell them that their significant other had expired. Are these dialogue options something we can expect to be expanded upon?

yeah, the interaction should be greatly improved. It would be nice to ask about some clues we have on the case board. As far as I have seen on the roadmap, the first improvement to this game will be "more NPC interaction", but it will be only out somewhere in suimmer, if all goes well.

Odd thing is, the tutorial seems to have more dialogue option. Telling others that their friend or partner has passed away and such. -- Didn't see similar or the same option at all for the randomly generated world.

Yeah this is definitely something we want to improve to make the world feel more alive and so you have more customised options to interact with people

The foundation of this game is solid. Y'all really put an unique game on the market. I hope you guys know that.

I can't wait to see what direction y'all will take with it.

"Expanded interaction" or something along those lines is literally on the roadmap. Check it.

For example, I investigated a murder which took me forever (5 hours).... was my first one! You never forget your first! However, in the end, it was a co-worker who killed them with a weapon from the office they work at. I would have loved to interview the boss of the workplace to ask about the victim, if she had any enemies, was she acting strange, relationships in the workplace, etc. :hacknetmail::lampoff:

Also I get we are kind of "off the record" but it would be nice if we dont automatically get shot at for wanting to look around and investigate the murder. Like I said guess wed have to have more interaction available with the boss of their work or something.

i was just thinking about, how about a friend who is still working as an Enforcer? we could phone him and ask for favours which he could send through emails etc.. like checking a fingerprint in their database. Story wise we are excop... probably some of our buddies is still working at the force. The friend could be always randomly generated, and even killed

I would really like that. The game would benefit 1000x more from that than from (e.g.) usable weapons (although I would not be against that, per se).
