Steal some documents advice?

I'm doing one of the side jobs, about stealing some documents in a brown and red envelope and I've found and investigated the suspect given to me by the client but I've searched high and low for this document and still haven't the faintest idea where it is. I've searched the suspects apartment, place of work, mailbox, her managers apartment and more and still no new leads.

Any advice? I realise the main USP of the game is figuring this stuff out yourself but I'm really scratching my head here.

Had this exact problem today, found the person and their apartment. Searched every single drawer, cabinet, safe, every inch of the bookshelves and never found the envelope. I even went and beat the person up to see if it was on their body and didn't find it.

Hmm there is a chance this could be a bug for sure. Please do report it in-game so we can look at the save files and try get a quick fix for it!

Did the target have a safe? I just finished one of these jobs and it was in their safe.

I faced the very same weird situation. I even found an red-brown envelope at the work place but picking it up didn't progress the job and I got stuck.

Yup, checked all of them, in her apartment, her work locker and the safe in their office

I need some help with this one as well. I found the envelope in a safe in their appartment, but I don't understand how I am supposed to hand it over.

It says to "drop it near a snack machine on Green Street". The "Plot Route to Hand-in" button is inactive, so I have no idea where I am supposed to go. I haven't found any snack machines, there are about 5 vending machines on the street. There are no special interactions, I can only "operate" to buy stuff.
If I drop the envelope randomly on the street, nothing happens of course. Any ideas how this is supposed to work?

Just drop it near the vending machines. If it worked you'll get a new prompt to call your employer. If not, just pick it up and find another machine. I was told to drop it near a jukebox in a bar (hilariously it was early in the morning and closed so I busted down the door dropped it and ran)

It seems to be a bug, I haven't gotten credit for 3 different missions when I pick up the folder. I do get credit for dropping it by the vending machine, but there's no option to contact the employer after.

Oh, I'm sorry, did you need that body? I was out practising my necromancy.

Seriously though, I have found times when something either hasn't spawned as it should, or sometimes feel through scenery. Had one crime scene where the body was actually in the apartment below because I guess it clipped through the floor and landed there.

Finished this job. Found documents at the target's workplace kitchen, there were not one but two envelopes so I picked up both. The progress meter counted only one of them though. Dropped near phonebox as being told and called given phone number. I did not experienced any problems but I read that many have this mission bugged.

in this mission how did you guys find the target? I being only given finger prints and blood type and work address building. how did you guys manage to find the target?

If you have the actual address of the company, you can break in and look through the boss's employee records, which have fingerprint samples. If it's just the building, then I dunno. Sounds like the only way would be the hard way of printing everyone in the building.
