"Ask staff about ...." issues

I'm having trouble getting started on a photography mission - in the past I just had to meet someone but now it's asking me to ask staff about Magnusson. I assume they mean city hall staff, so I've been initiating dialogue with people in city hall and no option comes up.

I'm guessing it's one particular person, so I've been waiting on a bench and trying to snag employees but a number of them never seem to show up to work. It's been a couple days.

Any suggestions or am I going at this the wrong way?

It means Staff of the place where you got note from. Any cashier or janitor will do.

In this case it was city hall, I'll keep trying everyone I find. maybe the note has been attributed to the wrong area?

Its probably some one specific npc since the city hall has alot of different work places in one building.

Yeah I ended up having the same thing happen, this thing needs to make sure it directs you to a receptionist or something because I never did find out who specifically I was meant to talk to, I just got frustrated and closed the job, lesson learned, don't get "speak to X" jobs at city hall I suppose.

Had same issue
If you accepted mission in City hall then you might be out of luck. Seems like City hall employees are bugged when it comes to 'Ask staff' objectives.

Thanks all. At least the bug report system is really good. I suspect this will get sorted soon.

In case you never found out or for those also looking for the answer, make sure you have the correct casefile selected. If you are in a different file and try to start a new job, the npc's wont have the info until you open the file. Hope this helps

When it worked, it used to be one of the 4 employees working near the case resolution forms at the center of the city hall. Then at some point it stopped working for me too.
