Mouse cursor missing from Main Menu
This is a weird one: I seem to have no mouse cursor in the main menu, so it makes it really hard to click on things. I have occasionally accidentally managed to click on a button, so the game is still recognizing the clicks. I just can't see where I'm clicking.

So far I haven't managed to actually start a game yet. Has anyone else run into this issue?

I run two monitors, and had previously played the preview version back in February. Maybe there are some configuration files that remained from the old version? I notice the main menu seems to have defaulted to my desktop resolution (1440p), which makes me think it might be loading prefs from the preview version a few months ago.

I also have the same issue. Tried disconnecting other peripherals such as a joystick to no avail. I’m hoping for a hot fix soon as this is rather disappointing.

Interesting, I managed to blind-click my way through and start a new game. But now that I'm in-game, moving the mouse doesn't move the view around, like the game is ignoring the mouse movement.

I'll keep experimenting around and see if I can make heads or tails of this.

Ran into this issue earlier today. Completely removing any controller or device that could be a registered as a controller worked. Joysticks, remotes, VR, anything.

Completely unplugged my HOTAS and it worked as intended.

Thanks iJonezi! That fixed it for me. I suppose a way to disable controllers in the settings would be a great feature to have.

I have the same issue: no mouse cursor, I have 5 flight controllers permanently plugged in, disconnected them and now all good, however it would be ideal not to have to do this!

I just ordered a powered USB hub that has individual on/off buttons for each plug. Hopefully that will give me a quick and easy way to disconnect my various HOTAS pieces without having to crawl back behind my computer and physically unplug them each time.

Yeah this literally makes the game unplayable. Even disabling Steam inputs doesn't work.

Unplugging 4+ USB devices every time is not an option when every other game deals with this just fine.

This should literally be just a simple preferences switch in Unity... I have dozens of Unity games where this isn't an issue.

I've reported it through the in-game bug reporter, and you should too. :) Hopefully having several reports for the same issue will help bump it up in priority.

Reported again for 33.15.

Brilliant, thank-you! plugged in an old XBOX controller and it worked! Now I can use my mouse and keyboard once set.

I had a similar problem even now! Turn ON Steam Overlay if it is off. That fixed the cursor problem not just for SoD but Tabletop Simulator too when the problem occured! Hope this helps.
