Starch Kola Addiction
Anyone know how to get rid of Starch Kola Addiction?

I had like, two cans and all of a sudden my detective is addicted and needs a Kola every 3 minutes or my camera goes mental. It makes getting those pixel-perfect clicks a NIGHTMARE.

It's not going away on it's own and sleeping isn't kicking it either.

Cheers! :PotionofCureLightWounds:

Have another starch Kola. That should fix it.

Hold the phone - I just answered my own question.

I've installed the Sugar Daddy Sync-Disk. Or the "Loan" sync-disk if you will.
It comes with the addiction debuff.

Removing the disk (paying the loan) solves the problem.

I guess it's "Bottom's up!" until then!

It says that if you drink or eat any starch product, the uninstall price goes down by 5. And you start at $6000. For every kola the price is $2, and for every candy is $4, so if you want to keep your thirst, addiction and hunger up, you would pay $6 for the total of $10 discount. And when you install the sinc disk you would get a down payment of $5000. So by the end of the grind you would make a profit of $4400, and you get that amount by doing 2 very successful cases, or 3-4 high-value side jobs. So therefore sugar daddy (Loan) sinc-disk is NOT worth it.

You can make 4k on one side Job easy enough, if you help yourself to All the valuables you're bound to come across.

Necro post But you can also if you can find it use the money from it to found the buying of [Model Citizen] Street cleaner option and 2 upgrade vial (vials 1000 each so 2000 total).
plus the sync-Disk let say 1000 (had no luck whit shops selling it as of late).

Find a dinner (reable sells Kola for 1 credit each).
now we buy 1200 colas for 1200 credit.
we drink them lowering the uninstall cost to zero.

[Model Citizen] Street cleaner gives 2 credit for each piece of trash thrown into a dumpster (including player bought items).
first vial raise that to 3 credit item.
second vial rase it to 4 credit item.

we then toss 1200 empty cans into the nearby dumpster earning 4 credit each.
4800 credit total.

meaning we made 5000-3000-4800 = 6800 credit and now will earn another 4 for every piece of trash we put into the bin.

post to my old maths equation.

Yeah, you can certainly make some bank that way, but whether the time to chug 1200 colas is worth it for 6800 crows I would rather question.

Additionally, the sync vial upgrades can be plugged directly into the Sugar Daddy sync in order to reduce the uninstall cost by $1k per each... Which, given the rebate increase per upgrade on Model Citizen, means you'd need to chunk 1000 trash items before breaking even with the option of just using the sync to get us closer to removing Daddy.

Sure, any upgrade vials used on Sugar Daddy are lost when removing the sync, but you gotta ask yourself if it's worth it.

...additionally, if you need some quick scratch without a crippling addiction thrown in, loan sharks are great.

Just did some testing and there might be a bug.
the Starch Candy is not classifed as a Kola-based product for the 5 credit deduct.
so you will get the 1 credit penalty for consuming competitor's products.

the Gemsteader Beer does correctly lower it by 5.
