becuse i not really understand the effect for synch disk 3 and woh is affected
What's not to understand? You can choose one effect, either taller (theoretically you could reach more things, maybe under tough to reach security cameras)
Or smaller, idk where this would be helpful tbh, I think it's a stealth bonus.
But I mean those status effects would be effecting you, you're the one installing them, so it's you who is getting tall or short, not npc's. Then both have upgrades to either shrink more or grow more, too
Also i'd wonder if some of the environment features for some of these just aren't really implemented yet, like maybe later in early access things like height will intimidate people, etc, being small maybe you evade hits more, idk, could change. For example, in a vent once I found a pipe in the way, that I couldn't get by - I assume this was a bug, but also maybe if you were smaller you COULD get by it, idk. Taller I'd imagine comes in handy with security cameras.
"Who gets taller or shorter, does this affect me or a specific person or even everyone?"
HUH? There isnt a single sync disc that changes everyone except you. why would a upgrade you literally install INSIDE YOUR BODY change someone else?
if you play more boldly, sneaking into occupied offices and the like, being shorter can help you more easily break line of sight with things like cubicle walls without needing to duck and slow down. the downside here is there are simply going to be some vents and cameras that are pretty much inaccessable to you without some legwork to stack up multiple boxes and barrels to reach. also high shelves can be annoying to search.
there is no shame in just tossing the disk in your apartment and just playing the game for an hour or two to see which way would benefit your playstyle more. or just keep going, find another copy of the disk, try one out and if you hate it, install the other and go that way.
Shorter makes you shorter
Mechanic wise
Being shorter makes it easier to use cover but harder to reach things that are higher up. Think vents + cameras.
Being taller makes it easier to reach things that'd normally be out of reach, but good luck taking cover behind things.
This is a sync disk you might not want to upgrade, even if you want to install it, since at the far ends it can be annoying. I've heard some people say you have to crouch to go through doorframes at max tallness.
Pros: You're virtually undetectable when sneaking, and largely undetectable even when you're not.
thanks, that waht i wanted to know. In your first reply you didn't mention who it affects and it could have been that it affects someone else to make it easier to identify or something like that. In my opinion, it should say "you will be 15% taller or shorter", I only question who is affected if it is not mentioned. And that's why your first reply sounded like a general explanation to me
