I can’t help you here but I do kinda like these hard missions where you get barley any info, need to get pretty creative figuring it out
Nova225 Jun 14, 2023 @ 7:13am
You're expected to pass on them because you have nothing to narrow the search with

If this a "Theft" mission then I can narrow the list of suspects for you. They always work in an office.

Otherwise, did the job poster give you an address to post to? go there and check out their address book and find out where the poster works. Nine in ten it will be in that book or a co-worker.

I had one that just gave me brown eyes, short black hair and O+ blood type. After I'd vandalised and photographed two wrong apartments for people who met that description, I gave up!

Make sure ya'll check the Details tab on the job listing pinned in your case board -after- you call them/open the brief case and get the details of the person you're looking for pinned to the board.

The details panel updates after calling/reading the files, and can include extra INCREDIBLY HELPFUL details.

For example..
I had a job that wanted me to find and photograph a person. Long brown hair, shoe size 13, Works at Andre View. That was all the detail I had to go on.

After an hour of fruitlessly trying to locate the person I went and reviewed the little information I had and in the Details panel of the job listing it literally told me the persons name. Finding her by name was super easy in comparison.

im sorry all i get in the "details" tab is literally what they said to me on the phone call, its all the "get in smash the place up" stuff, nothing to go on other than that

maybe he means connections? Although that typically comes up as "unknown person" if the name on the case file is also "unknown person"

no extra notes at the end of the suspect profile?

I had a similar experience... all I was told was a building. Then, upon looking closer, it mentioned a floor... really helped narrow it down.

To be clear here, I said 'Can' have extra info, Not 'Will'.

And no, I didn't mean connections. I meant details. As luck would have it, I actually still have the case on my case board so I can share a screenshot:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2989455213
To be clear, when I accepted the case I was given a picture to find a briefcase from. Prior to locating the briefcase, the job listing basically just said go find the briefcase.

After finding the briefcase, I was given an unknown citizen pin; the person I was supposed to find. Long brown hair and size 13 shoes shown there on the right; 'Works at Andre View' is shown on the fourth page in the notes category.

After wandering around for awhile, I went to review what information I do know, and clicked onto the Details page, and it had been updated to show the persons name and instructions on how to turn it in.

The name 'Judith Gillard' was NOT in the details tab until after acquiring the briefcase, opening it, and getting the Unknown Citizen listing.

The 'Details' tab Can(not Will) contain useful information for figuring out who you're supposed to be after once you open the briefcase/take the second call and get given your 'Unknown Citizen' pin.

I'm assuming the unknown citizen changed to Judith Gillard after you checked the details? otherwise man, the name is right there above the blank picture.

Nope. The blank picture read 'Unknown Citizen' to begin with.

After checking the details, I went to city hall and broke into the enforcer division, looked up the name and printed the citizen details to figure out where the heck she worked- By the time I noticed the name in the job listing details section, I had already checked every single business in Andre View trying to locate them from the only workable detail I had.... Or so I thought. Turns out it was actually the diner on the bottom floor that is TECHNICALLY part of the same building.

If the name was on the unknown citizen card from the start that would've been WAY easier. :winter2019joyfultearsyul:
