To be honest, it's a little annoying when you have to shuffle things around just to eat and drink. I can live with the 4 slots for equipment, but I wish quick consumables were handled outside of those slots.
I wish if your empty hands (not fists) could accept an object to hold, but if you reelect them or try pull something else out you just dropped what ever you were holding. That way you could receives food you buy from vendors and eat it without using a slot.
It would be great to get rid of the food/drink problem 100% - sync disks or not.
I'm pretty much considering this a bug, I can't imagine the designer intended players to have to drop their handcuffs and cameras so they can buy a meal and a drink and then pick them up again after eating/drinking.
If you are playing a burglar detective it shouldn't take you long to find the sync disks you need for space, since many NPCs have sync disks laying around.
But yea, I've found three sync disks that increase inventory. With upgrades thats more space than you could ever possibly need.
The third is Constitution, and the only one of the three where (in my opinion) that makes the choice a little difficult. Constitution can be upgraded to give you THREE extra inventory slots, but the flip side is immunity to cold at base level, which is kinda worth it by itself. The upgrades on that track aren't exciting. Immunity to stinky doesn't seem to work (at least I recall people still commenting that I stank) and immunity to exhausted. I have never been exhausted so ...
I tend to take cold immunity and not upgrade it. 4 extra slots from the other two disc's are enough for my purposes.
