Limited Inventory Space?
Is the player really limited to 4 items in their inventory? Is there anyway to upgrade it?

One of the syncdisks should have an inventory size upgrade. I forgot which # it was though.

Yeah. it's challenging. If I go to my favorite restaurant to order some fried chicken (mmmm! <rubs tummy>) and a coffee that's 2 slots right there!

To be honest, it's a little annoying when you have to shuffle things around just to eat and drink. I can live with the 4 slots for equipment, but I wish quick consumables were handled outside of those slots.

There are two syncdisks that can upgrade inventory. Of course, upping your inventory limit means forgoing the other effect of the disk- But in both cases it's worth it, imo.

I wish if your empty hands (not fists) could accept an object to hold, but if you reelect them or try pull something else out you just dropped what ever you were holding. That way you could receives food you buy from vendors and eat it without using a slot.

Right but you have to find those sync disks in the wild, you can't go to store and shop for them right? So until you do find it, you still have to put up with the annoyance of managing food and drink and equipment with few spaces. I managed to play a full game, retiring my detective without encountering the sync disk that gave me the added inventory.

It would be great to get rid of the food/drink problem 100% - sync disks or not.
I'm pretty much considering this a bug, I can't imagine the designer intended players to have to drop their handcuffs and cameras so they can buy a meal and a drink and then pick them up again after eating/drinking.

A lot of the jobs posted offer specific sync disks as a reward.

Its pretty easy to manage a small inventory unless you are intending to steal things. Most missions don't need a camera, can leave it at home. Hacking kit is also not really needed(though I hope that changes). Pretty much only keep handcuffs on me 24/7, in case I run into a murder.
If you are playing a burglar detective it shouldn't take you long to find the sync disks you need for space, since many NPCs have sync disks laying around.
But yea, I've found three sync disks that increase inventory. With upgrades thats more space than you could ever possibly need.

There are THREE sync discs that have the option to increase inventory space. Physique upgrades up to two spaces (the other option being more health) Community also offers upto two spaces (Or more money on successful jobs.)

The third is Constitution, and the only one of the three where (in my opinion) that makes the choice a little difficult. Constitution can be upgraded to give you THREE extra inventory slots, but the flip side is immunity to cold at base level, which is kinda worth it by itself. The upgrades on that track aren't exciting. Immunity to stinky doesn't seem to work (at least I recall people still commenting that I stank) and immunity to exhausted. I have never been exhausted so ...

I tend to take cold immunity and not upgrade it. 4 extra slots from the other two disc's are enough for my purposes.

immunity to stinky works but it works in a jank way. if you happen to be stinky when you get the upgrade, the game pretty much just shuts off your ability to CHANGE your stinkiness

Max inventory I got using disks was 9. Is 10 possible?
Sky Wizard Jun 24, 2023 @ 5:47am
4 base + 2 physique + 2 community + 3 constitution = 11

Can confirm, my last character had all sync disks (and all at full upgrade) except Sugar Daddy installed, I had 11 slots as I picked the slot option each time.
