so i just got to level 3 but the top score still says 0 did i have to beat a boss to make it count or is that a bug?

Not sure if this is a bug, but occasionally when I try to pick up items, they won't appear in the inventory screen. This glitch persists until I start a new game.

This is a very stubborn bug, it happens for some players and for other it won't. I hope i can fix it soon.. but at the moment, I have no idea what the cause of it is.
Moving some items in your inventory around seems to be a workaround for now.

You can't find the game there, cause its already closed. Steam is at fault. Happens with some games (like dark souls) and can only be fixed by closing steam itself.

steam closed - did not help. computer restart helped

I am sometimes seeing an "Unhandled Exception" .. The process cnnot access the file... \Olea's Decent\Bin\animations\APIData.dll" because it is in use by another process. The game continuest running in the background, but I have to manually click on the error dialog to close it. I've seen this after a 'Save and Continue", as well as when I exit the game. I can't give you a 100% way to replicate, but I've seen it pretty often. I'm on Win 10 x64.

Also, seeing the ItemInfo.exe task sometimes remains running behind the scenes even when the game is closed. (Clicking on exit form the main menu). I can see the task in Process Explorer, and Steam shows the game as running. If I kill the task, I can start the game again, without seeing the "Game Already Running' message.

Should be fixed with the latest patch

Unfortunately my game will not shut down properly either. Iv tried restarting my computer, and ending the task in the task manager and nothing works. Both OleasDescent.exe and ItemInfo.exe are running.

Are they both still running in the Taskmanager after restarting the computer?

Important question!: Did you close the game from the Mainmenu or did you Alt-f4 or exited the game via taskbar?

i tried to close in the games menu but i couldn't so i used the task bar
