The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena

Time for a remake of this game & Butcher Bay
Just go over the top of the original games with UE5 and I think this could be perfect...

The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena is a remake of The Chronicles of Riddick. You think that someone will release remake of remake?

Assault on Dark Athena is a sequel to Butcher Bay it's not a remaster of it. The Butcher Bay game that is bundled with it is a Remaster of the original Butcher Bay released on Xbox.

A remaster of both would be nice, but I'd settle for a re release as they both still look and play well on PC.

This version contain main game The Butcher Bay. Dark Anthena looks like an add-on and it's too short for a sequel. You really think that Butcher Bay can be re release again and add-on too? I think no chances for this. Very sad that such cool franchise without new video games.

Have you actually played the games? It's a full game and not an add-on. Plus neither game is horribly long and yes I think they can be re released. Just because the games aren't 100 hours long doesn't mean they aren't good. Games back then were never that long.

of course I played and Im lucky because I had this game in steam too. I meant Dark Anthena looks like an add-on or DLS because it's very short. I don't want another remake but I want a new game in Riddick's universe. All hopes for remake are useless don't waste your time.

A remake is more likely than a new game unfortunately. The two games were made by Vin Diesels game studio. They no longer, but it would be nice if we did get a new game especially since the new movie and TV show are in the works. Though I see a remake or re release more likely than a new game.

no, remakes are bad in 99.9% of cases.
no to UE5 but, a remaster on UE4 or another modern engine. could be great... UE5 has too many issues with perf at the moment vs other options.. 3 beta's im in actually reverted to the UE4 build because they can push higher FPS at higher quality levels, they can produce higher quality overall with UE5 but it runs so poorly compared to 4 that.. even at lower quality levels its got worse fps...

and only ONLY if its just a proper re-master or remaster not the mess so many games endup with... my exp in recent years remasters/remakes have been sooo much worse...

i would LOVE to see some older games be updated to ue4 or similar though...
