Tages error !
When trying to activate the game i keep getting unexpected error (6)

Anyone know how to fix this ?, i have tried using the latest versions of tages both x64 and x32 with no luck.

Are you using windows 10 by any chance and just updated last night?

Yes I'm using Windows 10 but I haven't updated for some time, I keep my self on the update just before the creators and fall update

Hmm, i really wish they would just update the files to no longer use tages.. i've only been able to find metion of tages error 6 once throughout my search of the net and the person whom had issues with this error said that they just waited a week and suddenly it worked which could of been beacuse of a whole range of things through out that week. and the their game was anno 2070 not this one :(

I don't suppose you know if theres actually a way to get the manual activation to work ?, i've tryed via chrome, firefox, internet explorer and microsoft edge, each one the page just fails to load

Nope, i think will be waiting a couple of monthes for someone to find a way to fix it. Which sucks cause i wanted to play.

I came up with a cool fix, i added you to tell you how, (this also removes the cancer that is TAGES)

Edit - i posted a guide for it :)

It is on steam, also you don't even own the game on steam so why would you want this fix ?

Hmm...

...This seems pretty dumb. Thanks for making me aware of this. This is a perfect example of what happens when you put DRM in a game and then the company that ran the DRM is no longer active. I say this because I believe the error we're getting (Error 6) is because it no longer exists.

No really, take a look. It doesn't exist anymore. Funnily enough, TAGES website is still up (and using flash, lmao).

If there's a way I can legally obtain copies of the files needed to get around this, that be most appreciative. If not... someone hit me up maybe? lol I really don't want to go out of my way to find a "copy" online.
