Small issue in vr with main menu

I can't seem to scroll through the main menu when opening it (Quest 2 / VD), bought it through Epic but the game starts in SteamVR.
When pressing the menu button it also opens SteamVR first, gotta close it but then I can only exit the main menu.

With this, I'm unable to save and exit. Is there another way to save/exit if this isn't an easy fix?

I no longer need help with this issue, today I could open and use the menu when pressing the left thumbstick, yesterday this didn't seem to work even through I restarted the game (to troubleshoot) at least 2-3 times. Perhaps restarting my PC was the solution.

Anyway, enjoying the game a lot!
