How do you start this in VR mode if purchased on Epic Games?

How do you start this game in VR mode if you purchased it on Epic Games, it doesn't even ask if you want to run it in VR mode or normal mode, doesn't say a thing, doesn't ask if you want to run it in VR, and I see no way to get it to work, very frustrating.

Can anyone help please?

Apparently you need to install SteamVR, and then the VR option will appear in the Epic launcher according to this post: https://steamcommunity.com/app/985950/discussions/0/3279194170695015113/

just run the game executable located in the Operencia_VR sub-directory, e.g.
...\Operencia\Operencia_VR\Operencia\Binaries\Win64\Operencia-Win64-Shipping.exe
