I do not see how this can make the game better when the core game itself is completely terrible. This is the one of the worst side scrolling beat em up ever made, and a stain to the SOR name. Beggars believe this travesty is so popular. SORR Remake and Takedown are so much more superior.

+1 for having controller issues since the update as well.

Both on XB1 and DS4 controllers. game pauses randomly then scrolls through the menu for about 5-10 seconds before it stops. Multiple inputs when I only press a button once (Not a specific button either. Sometimes I dash while just holding left or right, pressing square or X will double jab, picking up weapons immediately throws them.) Tested my controller on a few other games and they work perfectly fine. Even tried verifying the game files and uninstalling then reinstalling but the issue persists.

Overall great update but the controller issues make it hard to progress sometimes. Hope this gets fixed soon.

People managed to fix the delay issue at least.. But about sudden pauses and scrolls - yeah, that happened to me too. No fix known

It is the facts, completely terrible game on all levels, by two companies who make a living out of making terrible remakes, Wonderboy Monster Trap and Pang a case in point.

Anybody else having an odd amount of host lag? The DLC is amazing but I've just been having issues with my buddy

To developers. Very like this game, but it have only ONLY ONE actually playable character -- Cherry. Because others can not run! It's really confusing.

Give all characters ABILITY TO RUN! PLEASE!

also having controller issue with weird inputs then perma vibrate, will have to wait for a fix to play again unfortunately.

Adam can't throw weapon right after hit with weapon anymore (other characters still can do it)

I understand very well the base, Streets Of Rage is one of my fave series. But what they have done with SOR4 is just FLAT STUPID, they have completely RUINED what could could of been a good game. The graphics are terrible with bad graphics and animation and a colour pallet that looks like a baby sicked up a load of rainbow drops, and the two main characters have gotten very fat Blaze and Axel.

Gameplay has lost it's speed and fluidity, become slow and clunky with completely pointless gameplay additions like the combo system and the controls are horrendous.

And the new music for this game is like ear rape it is horrible and can not fathom the mind who made the soundtrack thought yeah this is good, he must of been deaf. The only saving grace is that you swap to the retro music.

Apart from those obvious glaring issues the game is devoid of polish and the presentation completely sucks.

If you have not already do yourself a favour play Streets Of Rage Remake or The Takedown certainly a LOT LOT better than this cr*p
