Xbox Controller Mac OS X

Hello

When I start the game on my Macbook Air M1, the xbox controller is detected (It gives options in the controller menu) but none of the buttons respond. I can confirm the controller works fine on gamepad-tester.com

I'm having the same issue with my PS4 controller

Same issue here. M1 Macbook, Xbox One Wireless Controller. Steam recognizes the controller and in some games controller works without any issues. SoR 4 does not recognize the controller for some reason.

Had this issue with m1 macbook pro and dualshock4. Found solution in some reddit thread: 1) go to steam Big Picure Mode. 2) find SoR4. 3) go to Manage game -> Controller Options. 4) set Steam Input Per-game Setting to "Forced off"

@mws dude you saved my life. I had this problem on MacOS and I could not play SoR4 and especially for the life of me I could not figure out what the problem was. I would have guessed the solution by myself. You are a savior.
