Game doesn't start

Just purchased and installed the game today. It won't start.

Another thread suggested changing my region to US English, but it's already set to that.

I believe I meet all the game pre-requisites: Windows 7 64-bit, 16G RAM, i5-3350P, GTX970. I ran the steam integrity check and it was ok. Not having issues with any other games.

Suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Same issue.. I played the game for about 2 hours last night and wanted to play this morning. But the game seems to be stuck with an small window saying Loading..
If you wait long the game just goes in to not responing state.

There was some "fix" that caused some ppl to not be able to launch the game.

Try this :
Restart steam if you launched sor4 already, or attempted to do it.
Open Steam again, go to your steam library
Right Click Streets of Rage 4
Go to property
Go to the beta part
Choose back up

Now you can try to launch the game

Thanks @Ubk. That worked for me. I assume at some point there will be a fix for this and we can go back to the mainline branch?
