is Estel OP?

I'm new to beat em ups, but so far this game is quite hard for me. I'm playing on medium with no assistance, as mostly axel and estel. I had to stop using estel because if felt like cheating.

it's not one thing but 4 moves put together that seem to maker her overpowered. Her combo ends in a flip attack which you can then use a charged flip attack.

Her special sends her flying across the screen doing lots of damage, and her forward special is that she tackles them for repeated attacks.

So is this just her being OP or have I just better that this style of play.

Not overpowered at all. You will see when you increase the difficulty, or play in Survival mode that Estel plays fair.

Maybe it's just my personal level of skill, but I can eat waves of enemies while half asleep and sipping my coffee when I'm playing as Estel. She's become my favorite, and in my opinion the strongest of all character choices.

Just like to emphasize I'm no expert, but holy hell she's easy to play.

I can agree with this. Estel has become so much more fun to play as.

I have been playing Y island and just dying over and over. First attempt as Estel and I got an A

She was more balanced before the last update, though still stronger than most of SOR 4 characters. Now she's buffed up to an almost Shiva level.

This issue with Estal is her charge attack, special kick and tackle. You can use the charge attack to do damage while also renaming invincible then cancel into a flying kick which also seems to have invincible frames. You can use these two moves almost exclusively to rack up huge points, then use the tackle to get out of trouble in a pinch.

Cherry is the easiest and most OP of all characters at least this is how i feel.

I've tried cherry multiple times she's fun but Estal is a monster. I don't even need to do combos

Default estel is not OP. Flashbang estel. waht estel are you talking about. I find her average. Sure you can do some good loops but no more than u can do with sor 1 skate, safer than you can loop with Floyd. Not as satisfying as Adam. Not as fast as cherry. i think it averages out.

I think I'm talking about default, who has a flash bang last I checked.

default is grenade shes pretty good just played her did her trials, she got some nice stuff. whats the deal with surgical strike though. I feel like she needs real police backup.

i found flashbang pretty powerful with survival buffs in there. But for mania++ arcade. not sure

I didn't bother with grenades, don't need em.
