Probably one of those small updates that has like 2 really minuscule fixes regarding coding or something, so they're not worth a "patch notes" section. Mayhaps!
Edit: Glad I was wrong, seems to be a reasonably impactful update, tho why wasn't it officially announced on SoR4's Steam page? Outside the forums I mean.
What stands out is the "Custom Sim" option which is absolutely awesome (mutators, starting level et.al, things I always wished for), a survival level display in the HUD, alternative skins for the retro characters, and some further Training options (saves previous config, reorganization of old (+new) items, team tags, ghost mode).

Mania+ difficulty is now more difficult, which I like. The extra enemies (a lot of stuff added from survival mode) are particularly nasty, however they make the final boss far easier (you don't have to bring a weapon with you since two elemental zeebos spawn during the fight).
Is there a list of the new content - not the patch notes, but the added content into each game mode?

for ex. Hey Buddy has 4 levels, and in V07 that meant it could only spawn 4 times. If you did not pick it up once, you could not max it out.
That and the lack of team perks for multiplayer are may biggest problems with survival.
Custom survival allows you to fix that, but you can't play custom survival online (WTF???).
Perks must be for both players at everywhere. Not only in custom survival, I think.
Yeah, this perk can spawn only 4 times . Same for extra armor (when you have <50% health, only 3 times can spawn), same for purple perks (only 4 purple perks can spawn). Its pretty bad decision.
One would think that you could use the 1-perk-per-game option and not worry about that, but then you'll be forced to pick up all the purple powerups, which can kill you in the long run (glass cannon will guarantee you die in one hit and no jump limits your mobility too much).
At least the points powerup is fixed, and if the perks are shared the extra stars perk will give you 6 stars total.
